Important! Keukenhof entrance tickets and combi-tickets (entrance + return trp by public transport) will go on sale later in autumn 2024. But you can already buy Keukenhof tickets with direct transfer from Amsterdam (from € 32,50) for the 2025 season.

To Keukenhof from Amsterdam by direct transfer bus
Take a transfer bus from Amsterdam if you want to travel to Keukenhof directly. There are two different direct transfers. Their main difference is departure location. For the rest they both include a return bus ride to Keukenhof and entrance to the park.
Option 1. Shuttle bus departing from the This is Holland experience (). If you travel from Amsterdam Central station you need to take a free ferry across the IJ river and then walk for approximately two minutes to This is Holland.
Travel time to Keukenhof is around 45 minutes. The prices range from €32,50 to €47,50 depending on the season and departure time. Book tickets online.
Option 2. Tours & Tickets direct bus transfer departing from De Ruijterkade, 34 (the opposite side of Amsterdam Central station).

You can also take Keukenhof Express bus line 852 from Amsterdam RAI/ Europaplein which will take you to the Keukenhof entrance.

Keukenhof combi-tickets (entrance + return bus ticket from Amsterdam) will be available for € 36,50. In 2025 prior reservation is required for all kinds of tickets to the Keukenhof gardens.
The time that you choose during the booking process is based on departure with the bus line 852 from Europaplein/RAI Amsterdam. The first Keukenhof bus from Amsterdam RAI departs at 07:30, and the last return bus to Amsterdam departs from Keukenhof at 19:45. Expected travel time is 35 minutes.
Important: You will need a separate public transport ticket to travel from Amsterdam center to Amsterdam RAI by metro line 52. I amsterdam city card is also valid in metro.

From Amsterdam to Keukenhof by train
There is no train station directly next to Keukenhof. But you might still want to travel by train if you plan to visit tulip fields around Hillegom train station.
This is how you can travel to Keukenhof from Amsterdam by train + bus:
1. Take a train from Amsterdam Centraal to Leiden Centraal (one-way ticket from Amsterdam costs € 10,60 in 2024).
2. At Leiden Centraal station change to the bus line 854 (Leiden – Keukenhof express). Combi-ticket from Leiden (entrance + return transfer) costs € 31,50.
To Keukenhof by car
The Keukenhof gardens are located between Amsterdam and Leiden. Keukenhof for navigation: Stationsweg 166A, Lisse.
It will take you around 40 minutes to drive from Amsterdam to Lisse. Parking near Keukenhof in 2025 costs € 10 a day. Parking tickets are available online.

Please remember you need to book tickets to Keukenhof with a time-slot online. In 2025 the Keukenhof gardens are open every day from 20 March untill 11 May, from 08:00 till 19:30.
