What can you see at the NEMO Museum in Amsterdam?
The NEMO Museum is an amazing place where children of all ages can learn about how the universe works, the world of technology, and much more.
At times, NEMO feels less like a museum and more like a huge playground. You can step inside a giant soap bubble, crawl through suspended structures, and see how they behave. You can draw or take part in workshops, such as building structures from drinking straws.
You can also learn how electric cars and other experimental urban mobility devices work. Overall, it’s a fun and interactive way to explore technology, physics, chemistry, and innovation.
How to get to the NEMO Museum?
You can walk to the NEMO Museum (address: Oosterdok 2) from Amsterdam Central Station. A walk takes about 15 minutes.
When you exit the station building, turn left and walk straight ahead until you see the green shape of the museum. It’s hard to miss!
If you are traveling to the NEMO Museum from another part of Amsterdam, use the free public transport planner 9292.nl. It will suggest the best route and provide schedules.
