Keukenhof with the timeslots system: there is a limited amount of tickets available per day and time. Almost all weekends in April and May are usually sold out. Here are the tips on how you can still visit Keukenhof in 2027 (open from 18 March to 9 May 2027) on the days when entrance tickets are sold out.
Keukenhof entrance tickets sold out in 2027?
Check the Tulip Festival Card or Keukenhof + transfer tickets availability at Tiqets.com, GetYourGuide, or Tours & Tickets.
If you travel to Keukenhof from other destinations, check entrance + bus tickets from Schiphol airport, from Rotterdam or from The Hague.

Keukenhof tickets are sold out: what to do?
Please note: if the entrance tickets to Keukenhof are sold out online, you also won’t be able to buy them at the door. But you can still try a few things that can help you to buy tickets for the date of your choice.

You can also visit the tulip fields near Keukenhof, special tulip farms (The Tulip Barn and Tulip Experience Amsterdam) or explore the tulip fields on a self-drive tour in a Renault Twizy.
Keukenhof entrance + shuttle bus tickets
A shuttle bus from Amsterdam will take you directly to the Keukenhof entrance. The bus departs from the This is Holland experience (Overhoeksplein 51). From Amsterdam Central station you need to take a free ferry across the IJ river and then walk for approximately two minutes.
The prices range from € 42,50 to € 52,50 depending on the season and departure time.
Tulip Festival Card
The Tulip Festival Card is a convenient ticket for visiting Keukenhof and the tulip fields from Amsterdam. It includes a Keukenhof shuttle bus ticket from Amsterdam, Keukenhof entrance, canal cruise in Amsterdam and 10% discount on other museum tickets and tours in the Netherlands.
Keukenhof combi-tickets (entrance + public transport)
You can also travel to Keukenhof from Amsterdam by public transport. Then buying a Keukenhof combi-ticket (entrance + return bus ticket) is the best price option.

If all these tickets are also sold out for the date and time of your choice, keep checking availability regularly. Sometimes there are last-minute cancellations and you can be lucky enough to find a ticket.

1. Check the Keukenhof tours availability
Some Keukenhof tickets are pre-booked by tour operators, so there is a chance there will be a spot available for your selected dates. Here are some good tour options:

2. Buy an Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket and visit tulip fields and farms
Tip! You can use Amsterdam & Region Travel ticket in the Keukenhof bus from Amsterdam (line 852), Hoofddorp (line 859) and Haarlem (line 850). You can get this ticket and travel to the flower area, rent a bike, join a local tulip tour or visit a tulip farm.

There are also special farms with tulip fields and creative photo zones:
- The Tulip Barn (at 130 3e Loosterweg, 2182 CX, Hillegom, a short train ride to Hillegom station followed by a 15-20 minute walk along the flower fields), usually open from late March till early May, daily from 9:30 till 19:00 (2027 dates to be confirmed).
- Tulip Experience Amsterdam (at Delfweg 37, 2211VK, Noordwijkerhout, 10 minutes by bike from Keukenhof), usually open from mid-March till early May, daily from 9:00 till 18:00 (2027 dates to be confirmed).
Do Keukenhof tickets sell out?
Yes, they often do! If you’ve been trying to book Keukenhof entrance tickets for the weekend in April and May, you have probably noticed that for many dates they are completely sold out. We recommend booking Keukenhof tickets in advance to avoid unnecessary stress and disappointment.
Busiest days during the Keukenhof season in 2027
Keukenhof tickets are most likely to sell out on:
- Easter break (26-29 March 2027)
- Flower Parade weekend (17-18 April 2027)
- Dutch school vacations (24 April to 2 May 2027)
- King’s Day (27 April 2027)
If you plan to visit the gardens on these days, we recommend booking tickets as soon as you start planning your trip.
The Flower Parade day (17 April 2027) is the busiest day at Keukenhof. The entrance tickets for this Saturday usually sell out before the start of the season. We recommend booking tickets in advance. You can also book a tour from Amsterdam to the Flower Parade + Keukenhof with grand seats (from € 180) or without (from € 80).
