Keukenhof, the world-famous tulip garden in the Netherlands, is open for just two months each year. Located just 40 km from Amsterdam, it’s a must-visit destination during the spring! In 2025, Keukenhof will be open from March 20 to May 11.
Tip! Keukenhof entrance tickets for the 2025 season are already available online. An adult admission ticket costs €20,50 online and €25 at the entrance. Keukenhof works with timeslots, so the number of visitors allowed per day is limited.
You can also book combi-tickets (entrance + public transport, € 32 – € 37) or Keukenhof tickets with direct transfer from the center of Amsterdam (€ 35 – € 52,50). With this transfer you get a guaranteed seat. Comfortable coach buses depart from Amsterdam every 30 minutes from 08:00 till 15:30. You can stay at Keukenhof as long as you want. The last bus back to Amsterdam departs at 18:30.
Good to know! In 2025 Keukenhof park will have tickets with fixed time slots again. Some days (the Bloemencorso Flower Parade day, Easter weekend (19 – 21 April 2025), weekends in April and beginning May) will be sold out quickly. Book your Keukenhof tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.

When you book a Keukenhof combi-ticket, the time you pick during the booking process is based on the departure of the bus.
Tip! If you already have Keukenhof entrance tickets, you can buy the bus-only tickets via the Glimble app for iOS or Android.
From 11 April to 11 May 2025 there will also be a transfer bus operating between The Hague/Rotterdam and Keukenhof. Tickets cost € 44,50 per person. The price includes round trip by bus and Keukenhof entrance ticket.

Keukenhof tickets are most likely to sell out on:
- Flower Parade weekend (12 – 13 April 2025)
- Easter break (18 – 21 April 2025)
- Dutch school vacations (18 April – 4 May 2025)
- King’s Day (26 April 2025)

What is the best time to see tulips in the Netherlands?
Tulip season in Amsterdam starts in the end of March and lasts till early May. It’s hard to predict the exact blooming times as they highly depend on the weather. In Keukenhof itself there is always a big variety of flowers in bloom. But if you want to see tulip fields, we recommend to visit the Netherlands in the last two decades of April.
