Watching from the roadside is free; grandstand seats started at € 29,50 in 2026. The illuminated evening parade is on Friday 16 April in Noordwijkerhout, and on Sunday 18 April the floats are on show in Haarlem until 17:00. Dutch Flower Parade 2027 near Keukenhof in short
Bloemencorso will officially start on 17 April 2027 in Noordwijk. Around 15:45 the flower wagons will process along the road near the Keukenhof tulip gardens. Around 21:05 they will arrive at the old city of Haarlem, and on Sunday 18 April 2027 the flower compositions will remain in the streets of Haarlem till 17:00.

The Bollenstreek Flower Parade is a 42 km long parade through the bulb region of Holland. On Saturday 17 April 2027 floats decorated with spring flowers move from Noordwijk through Voorhout, Sassenheim, Lisse, Hillegom, Bennebroek and Heemstede to Haarlem:

Best spots to watch the Flower Parade along the route

At these locations, you will often find a bit more space to enjoy the parade as it passes by:
- Noordwijk boulevard
- Sassenheim industrial area
- Around De Engel and Ter Beek
- Hillegom, near McDonald’s & the water tower
- Outskirts of Hillegom
- Haarlemmerstraat heading towards the Linnaeushof
- The section following the Linnaeushof
- Prior to the town center of Bennebroek
Bloemencorso Flower Parade tickets 2027
Generally you don’t need a ticket to view the flower parade just standing along the road. But for your own comfort there is a possibility to book a seat on tribunes. Prices in 2026 started from € 29,50 for an uncovered grandstand. Covered stands could be booked from € 75,00. The Flower Parade tickets are sold out very quickly, especially in Lisse and Hillegom (Sassenheim is now sold to tour operators only).

Please note: if you want to visit Keukenhof itself, you need a valid entrance ticket. In 2027 Keukenhof tickets have fixed time slots per day. Some dates, like the Flower Parade days, are very popular. We recommend that you book tickets as soon as you start planning your trip.
How do I get to the Flower Parade from Amsterdam?
Many travellers try to combine their visit to Keukenhof and the Flower parade in one day. However, if you don’t like crowds, we recommend choosing another location (Sassenheim, Hillegom, Heemstede) for viewing the parade and plan your visit to Keukenhof for a later or earlier date.
On the day of Parade the roads around the Keukenhof tulip gardens will be closed between 14:00 and 17:00. You will not be able to enter or leave Keukenhof parking during this time.
Keukenhof direct transfers from Amsterdam will also operate on Flower Parade day. We recommend booking in advance, as tickets for Flower Parade day often sell out even before the start of the season.

Visiting the Flower Parade at its end destination, Haarlem, is a great option as well. We recommend that you book a hotel in Haarlem and enjoy the flower parade in the dark or early in the morning.

Illuminated Evening Flower Parade in Noordwijkerhout
On Friday evening 16 April 2027 you can see the flower parade in the evening light. At 21:00 the floats, lit with thousands of lights, drive through the village of Noordwijkerhout.

You don’t need to buy a ticket for the Bollenstreek Bloemencorso flower parade if you just want to watch it from the roadside along the route. That viewing is free of charge. However, if you want a reserved seat on a grandstand/tribune with better views and facilities, or tour with transfer from Amsterdam, then you do need to buy a ticket for that.
