Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket (ARTT) is a convenient pass valid for 1-3 days of unlimited travel by bus, tram, metro and train in Amsterdam and surrounding areas. It if also valid in the Keukenhof buses from Amsterdam (line 852), Schiphol (line 858) and Haarlem (line 850).
Where is Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket valid?
With ARTT you travel unlimited by public transport in Amsterdam (bus, night bus, tram, metro), as well as and train and bus in the area, including:
- bus line 397 (Airport Express) from Schiphol airport to Amsterdam and train from Schiphol to any station in Amsterdam
- Haarlem
- Zaanse Schans
- Volendam
- Edam
- Marken
- Zandvoort
- Keukenhof.

Travel to Keukenhof with Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket
During the Keukenhof opening season (20 March to 11 May 2025) ARTT is also valid in bus lines:
- 852 (Amsterdam RAI – Keukenhof)
- 858 (Schiphol – Keukenhof)
- 850 (station Haarlem – Keukenhof).
With ARTT you don’t need to choose departure time, it can be flexible.
Please note that:
- ARTT is not valid in the bus line 854 from Leiden
- ARTT doesn’t include the Keukenhof entrance ticket, you have to book it separately.

Is Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket worth it?

- 3 days ticket for public transport in Amsterdam – € 21,50
- return bus ticket from Amsterdam RAI to Keukenhof – € 17
- return train ticket from Amsterdam to Zandvoort – € 14,80
- bus ticket to the Zaanse Schans – € 11,50
- return train ticket from and to the Schiphol airport – € 6,20 x 2

How long is ARTT pass valid?
ARTT passes are valid for 1, 2 or 3 calendar days. The ticket is valid from the first time you check in until 04:00 hours after the last valid day.
How to use Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket?
After you order the Amsterdam & Region Ticket, you can collect it from a variety of locations, including on arrival at Schiphol Airport. The ARTT is a single-use smart ticket. You have to check in and out with your card every time you enter and leave a bus, tram, train or metro.
