The bus line 397 will take you from Schiphol Plaza to Leidseplein and Museum Square (Museumplein) in 30 minutes. The night bus makes more stops, therefore you travel time will be longer.

The Amsterdam Airport Express departs from the Schiphol plaza bus platform B17. After you leave the airport, go slightly to the right. The bus stop is literally a minute walk from the airport.

Important: The Schiphol Plaza bus station is currently being rebuilt. Some buses will be arriving and departing from different locations than travellers are used to. The new locations are indicated by signage and information at the bus stops.

1. Single or return bus ticket. You can buy the ticket online (the price is € 6,50 for a single ticket, and € 11,75 for a return ticket). The bus driver also sells these tickets. But please be aware: the driver doesn’t accept cash, you can only pay with a bank card.
