On the Iamsterdam.com website you can find a brochure listing all included museums and attractions. However, it does not mention the regular ticket prices. In this guide, I have compiled a list of the museums included in the I amsterdam City Card along with their ticket prices (as of 2 June 2026) to make it easier for you to decide whether the card is worth buying.

So is the I amsterdam City Card worth it?
Make a list of all the museums and attractions you plan to visit during your trip. Add up the regular ticket prices for each attraction and compare the total cost to the price of the card.

Yes. Is the Van Gogh Museum included in the I amsterdam City Card?

It depends on the museum, regular admission on this list ranges from around € 7,00 (Tulip Museum) to € 32,50 (ARTIS Royal Zoo), with most major museums like the Rijksmuseum and Moco Museum priced between € 20 and € 25. Add up the entries you’d actually visit and compare that total to the card price to see if it’s worth it for your trip.
Is the I amsterdam City Card worth it just for museums?
It usually is if you’re planning to visit 4 or more museums or attractions from the lists above, since that’s typically where the free admissions alone cover the price of the card, before even counting the free transport, bike rental and canal cruise.
