Amsterdam Schiphol railway station is located directly under the airport. In the arrival hall follow the Trains sign to the Schiphol plaza hall. There you can use twelve escalators and three elevators to go up and down the station. Make sure you buy your train tickets in advance!

How to get from Schiphol to Amsterdam city center?
A direct train will take you from Schiphol airport to Amsterdam downtown in 17 minutes. A single train ticket from Schiphol to Amsterdam Centraal in 2024 costs € 5,90. For children age 4-11 there is a special kids ticket – Railrunner. It costs € 2,50 and is valid all day in all domestic trains.

It’s also possible buy a train ticket from NS yellow vending machines at the airport.
