Tulip Festival in Amsterdam in 2025
In 2025, for the 11th year in a row, Amsterdam will host its own Tulip Festival. Over 880.000 tulips will planted in 60+ locations around the city. The tulips will bloom in public spaces along streets and squares of Amsterdam, in shopping areas, parks, and in the gardens of several museums and hotels.

- Tickets: The public locations are free to visit, and the museums charge their regular entrance fees.

Keukenhof tulip festival 2025
Keukenhof is the world’s most beautiful spring flower garden, open only for two months a year. More than 7 million flower bulbs are planted in Keukenhof every year. Open gardens and pavilions demonstrate a collection of tulips, irises, lilies, hyacinths, daffodils, orchids and other flowers.
- Keukenhof tulip gardens opening dates: 20 March to 11 May 2025.
- Keukenhof location: Stationsweg 166A, Lisse.
- Keukenhof tickets: Entrance tickets to Keukenhof for the 2025 season are already available online. You can also book Keukenhof + transport from Amsterdam tickets or buy the Tulip Festival card which includes Keukenhof entrance and transportation.

Flower parade 2025
Bloemencorso Bollenstreek flower parade is one of the most famous flower parades in the Netherlands and one of the largest in the world. It’s also sometimes called the flower carnaval or flower show. The next Flower Parade near Keukenhof will take place on 12 – 13 April 2025.
The flower parade will start in Noordwijk. Then the cars decorated with flowers will process along the road, also near the Keukenhof main entrance, and arrive to Haarlem.
- Flower parade dates: 12 – 13 April 2025.
- Bloemencorso parade route: Noordwijk – Voorhout – Sassenheim – Lisse – Hillegom – Bennebroek – Haarlem.
- Tickets: You can enjoy the show free of charge. You only need to pay if you want to book a seat at tribunes in Sassenheim, Lisse or Hillegom. Prices start from € 25,95.
You can also book a VIP arrangement which includes a tulip farm visit, lunch, transfer from/to Amsterdam and VIP seats during the Bollenstreek Flower Parade on 12 April 2025.

Tulip fields near Amsterdam in 2025
The best place to see the tulip fields not far from Amsterdam is the Bollenstreek area (the Flower Bulb Region), which includes beautiful places like Lisse, Noordwijkerhout, Noordwijk, Hillegom. It is good to combine your trip to the tulip fields with a visit to Keukenhof (in 2025 open from March 20 till May 11).
Best time to visit tulip fields near Amsterdam: The blooming period of the flower fields depends on the weather. Usual season for the flowers blooming is:
- daffodils fields – from mid-March till mid-April
- hyacinths fields – from the beginning of April till end of April
- tulips fields – from mid-April till early May
Tickets to the tulip fields: You don’t need a ticket to view the fields from the distance or bike through the area. However, it’s not allowed to enter the flower fields. And if you want to take nice photos in the fields, you can visit special farms, like The Tulip Barn (address: 130 3e Loosterweg, 2182 CX, Hillegom) or Tulip Experience Amsterdam (at Delfweg 37, 2211VK, Noordwijkerhout).
