Looking for authentic antiques in Amsterdam instead of boring souvenirs? Antiekcentrum Amsterdam is one of the city’s best hidden gems for vintage furniture, jewelry, Delftware, silver, and collectible Dutch pieces – all under one roof.
Over the past five years, I’ve completely fallen in love with vintage and antiques, buying them for every occasion (and no occasion at all). And I always recommend bringing home pieces with history and character instead of factory-made souvenirs.

So where to look? In the warmer months, antique markets pop up across the Netherlands on weekends. But they’re not held regularly, so you need to track dates and plan around them.

My tip: visit Antiekcentrum Amsterdam. It’s open almost every day (closed on Tuesdays) and is a huge indoor market with 150+ dealers and thousands of items, from silverware and jewelry to furniture and old toys. Easy to get lost in the best way!
Whether you are looking for a small vintage souvenir under €10 or a unique collector’s item, there is something here for every budget.

The center is popular both among serious collectors and people just looking for unique and timeless pieces.

My personal favourites are the antique jewelry pieces.
