From August 20 to 24, 2025, SAIL — the most famous maritime festival — will take place in Amsterdam. Over the course of five days, more than 2,3 million people are expected to attend the event. Want to experience it all from the water? Several companies are offering SAIL Amsterdam 2025 cruises.

Is it true that SAIL Amsterdam 2025 is a free event?
You don’t need tickets to visit the ships, tall ships festival, parade, shows and concerts. These events are free indeed. SAIL 2025 is one big party for everyone, connecting young and old from all cultures. But if you want to sail on a boat, you do need a ticket and prior reservation.
