The KeukenhofBuzz bus offers the most convenient way to travel to Keukenhof from Amsterdam, Schiphol airport, Haarlem, and Leiden. Here’s everything you need to plan your journey with KeukenhofBuzz: tickets, timetable and tips.
Prior to 2025, the Keukenhof bus was operated by Arriva under the name Keukenhof Express. Starting in 2025, the service is managed by Qbuzz and is now called KeukenhofBuzz.
In 2025 Keukenhof will be open from 20 March to 11 May. Keukenhof combi-tickets (entrance + return trip by the KeukenhofBuzz) are available online.
Tip! You can also take a direct Keukenhof transfer bus from the center of Amsterdam. Unlike KeukenhofBuzz, it’s not a public transport bus, so you get a guaranteed seat. And if you choose afternoon departure time (15:00) it will be almost same price as public transport (€35 – €39,50, including entrance).

What is the KeukenhofBuzz?
KeukenhofBuzz is a seasonal public transport bus operating during the Keukenhof from 20 March to 11 May 2025 between Keukenhof gardens and four departure locations:
- Amsterdam RAI (bus line 852)
- Schiphol airport (bus line 858)
- Leiden (bus line 854)
- Haarlem (bus line 850).

KeukenhofBuzz tickets
Keukenhof combi-tickets (entrance + return bus ticket) in 2025 cost:
- € 37 for adults and € 17,50 for children if you travel from Amsterdam RAI
- € 32 for adults and € 15 for children if you travel from Schiphol
- € 32 for adults and € 15 for children from Leiden
- € 32 for adults and € 15 for children from from Haarlem
Combi-tickets include both the entrance to Keukenhof and a return bus journey.
Important: Keukenhof combi tickets are sold with a 30 minutes interval. However, public transport operates according to its own schedule. The best way to check the actual bus departure times is via the Glimble app.
Travel with flexible departure times
If you want to have flexible departure time, you can travel with a regular OV-chipkaart (Dutch transport card), OV-pay or Amsterdam & Region Travel ticket.
Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket is valid for 1-3 days of unlimited travel by public transport in Amsterdam and surrounding areas. You can use it to travel to Keukenhof from Amsterdam, Schiphol and Haarlem, but not from Leiden.

You can also book bus only tickets for the transfer bus departing from the center of Amsterdam.
Can I use my GVB ticket in the KeukenhofBuzz?
No, the buses line 850, 852, 854, 858 are operated by Qbuzz. Your GVB ticket, as well as I amsterdam City Card are not valid in KeukenhofBuzz.
However you can use Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket. It is valid in the bus lines:
- 858 (Schiphol Airport – Keukenhof)
- 852 (Amsterdam RAI – Keukenhof)
- 850 (station Haarlem – Keukenhof).
Amsterdam Travel Ticket is not valid in any of these bus lines.

Can I take a return Keukenhof bus to another location?
The following rules apply to the return trip by KeukenhofBuzz:
- if you have a combi-ticket from Amsterdam RAI (€ 37), you can travel back to any other location (Amsterdam, Schiphol, Leiden, Haarlem).
- if you have a combi-ticket from Schilphol, Leiden, Haarlem (€ 32), you can take a return bus to one of this locations with the same ticket.
- if you have a combi-ticket from Schilphol, Leiden, Haarlem you cannot travel back to Amsterdam RAI with your ticket.
Is the KeukenhofBuzz accessible to passengers in a wheelchair and mobility scooter?
Yes, it is accessible to the passengers in a wheelchair. You can travel in the KeukenhofBuzz bus in a wheelchair, as long as it does not exceed the allowed dimensions (120 cm long, 70 cm wide, 109 cm high).
There is a special space for wheelchairs and buggies in the central part of the bus. It’s enough for 1 wheelchair or 2 buggies. Passengers in wheelchairs have priority over buggies.
Mobility scooters are not allowed in the bus.
Can I travel with a dog on the KeukenhofBuzz?
Yes, small dogs are allowed on the KeukenhofBuzz. They must be kept on a leash and cannot occupy a seat. You can either keep your dog on the seat or on the floor. Small dogs can travel for free on the bus.
Can I store my luggage in the KeukenhofBuzz?
No, the KeukenhofBuzz is a regular line bus, not a tourist coach. This means the bus will depart immediately after dropping you off at Keukenhof.
You can leave your luggage in the lockers or storage facilities near the Keukenhof entrance.
